Car help please???

I am looking at a Jaguar Vanden Plas it is 1982 fully loaded automatic, with 130000 miles and it is $2000. I really like the way that the car looks, but I am wondering if it would be a good car for me cause I don't really want hella expensive car repair bills just because it is a jaguar. Can anyone tell me anything about this car? Oh and it is 12 cyl.

Unfortunately, this car is extremely expensive to maintain. I wouldnt mind having a look at something like that, but can you imagine what it costs to rebuild a V-12?

I agree the maintenance on that car will kill your pocket book.
If you don't know how to work on this car, you won't be able to afford it.
