Well, I have been working for the past couple of days on my '65 Mustang Fastback and it is coming together quite nicely so far. What do you guys think? I just got the engine and trans back in it today. 😀 Still alot more to do but I am in progress. 🙂

-- Original 289 .030 overbore
-- Crane Cam
-- 351W heads
-- 4 Speed T-10

Ditto. I really like the Mustang Fastback body style...not crazy about all the others, though. Gonna be one sweet ride! What color are you going to paint it?

okay, its up to you, but my style would be:

electric blue or some other blue maybe like the shelby cobra or viper blue, and one thick white racing stripe down the center. i really like that combination.

edit: its just a toy, but this combination here

Silver metallic with black stripes looks badass

/me likes this combo as well but seems too much like a mock up gt500 from gone in 60 sec. I think I have just seen it too much lately....

California Red is never wrong. Not very original but still nice. No stripes, nice rims. 😀

 
is it safe to leave the car out like that?

Don't worry, it stays in a covered garage with a car cover over it most of the time, just had it out to work on it. 😀

how long till you get it started up?

prolly about two or three weeks I guess, working on and off between work, etc...
