bleh... rather have it in the Supra body. Or perhaps the GS body. Never liked the missle like shape of the SC series.

Interesting car.

Other great sleeper cars were the mid 80's LTD's. No, not the full sized ones, but the mid sized cars. I think Ford called the mid sized cars LTD's, and the full sized cars were Crown Victoria's.
Some LTD's came with the optional 5.0L V8, and they had about the same overall platform as the Mustang. That means most aftermarket Mustang parts were a direct bolt in replacement: engines, transmissions, axles, suspension parts, etc.

I've seen videos of a modded SC with something like 900hp. His website was pretty simple (can't find it now), had a few pic of the car and the engine, maybe a dyno plot,and 2 movies.

One move was the car on a dyno, which was pretty cool. And the other one was him racing a Viper, and 2 RX7s on some bridge (I think). That was pretty cool. He flew by all of them, and you could see a huge flame flare out of one of the RX7's exhaust when it was accelerating.

that interior's hurt... but the swap is still cool, I've seen it done before - definitly interesting
