You know, he could have been praying to Buddha, the FSM, Satan, or any number of other "deities". He didn't specify.

Instead of being an ass just thank a person for the sentiment, because usually when someone says "I'll pray for you" they are wishing you well.

Gautama Buddha is not a deity, he was a man. Buddhism is a nontheistic religion. 😉

I still hold the record. Have gotten my cars stolen 3 times.

Kaerflog, does insurance payout right away or do they want a pre determined number of days before giving you a check for the stolen car?

OP, should have bought a saturn, no one bothers to steal those!

Sorry to hear. That would suck to come out and find your car gone.

If I were to steal a car I would totally leave something in its place. Like maybe a big wheels or one of those little electric jeeps kids drive around in.

For those giving grief over the type of car: here's hoping you don't have your stuff stolen. It's a shit feeling to have things you worked for taken by assholes who won't work for themselves.

FF - if you could use some help feel free to PM me a paypal and I can gift a bit to help with the cost of the new car.

If you have renters/home owners insurance; the contents of the car can have a claim filed for.

The car itself value will need what is called comprehensive coverage.

WTF, a forum member made a thread about someone stealing his boom cat and it got locked but a thread about a stolen car is fine?

I mean, I get it, I would rather have a car than a cat (unless it's a boom cat) but I am shocked to see the moderators showing car over cat bias.

You have no understanding on parody threads. :colbert:

Also, members that have "upset" moderators may be given less leeway :whiste:

not a chance in shit i would ever buy another VW, let alone one that is nearly 20 years old. learned my lesson after owning 2 of them, 1 being a 97 jetta. good luck with that car, hope your pockets are deep or you know how to fix your own car/electrical problems.

Stealing is like investing in stock, there's a risk you will pay or it may potentially payoff. You can be a sucker and not take any risks where you end up working for a set wage. These guys saw an opportunity and decided to take a risk...the payoff?...it paid. There was some work involved, you certainly can't be a thief and be lazy at the same time with that "I'll steal it tomorrow" mentality.

As much info as the post #1.

I guess if you said too much we could call you on your lies and you wouldn't be able to troll anymore.

LOL, I'm amazed that so many people actually fell for this horseshit, just look at all the 'attention-whore" threads OP has made.

I know nobody in this thread but it made me laugh, from start to finish. Thank you. Boom car stolen and returned.

No, it really did get stolen, and I did get it back yesterday.

Why is it so hard to believe?

Anyways, all that is missing is the cup holders. They damaged the stereo but left it there. It seems like they really didn't know wtf they were doing. Got the car back with 036 on the odometer, and I left it with 015, and when you add in towing to the impound lot, they drove probably all of 10 miles in the car.
