As far as your car, don't overlook a bent rim or driveshaft. I guess caked on mud could cause the driveshaft to be balanced incorrectly and cause your problem.

No drive shaft. 😉

However the outer CV joints can cause shaking. He would here a clicking when turning though............caked on mud isn't really an issue...

Alright, I got it fixed now. My car actually runs smoother now. I took it into Tire Plus and they did it for under 40 bucks. They said like others earlier, it was just "mud" - so I took it into a car wash and did a deluxe wash (double sprayed, etc) and then I took it home and did a pressure hose wash on everything I saw beneath the car including rims, etc - didn't work, so I took it back to the shop and they just balanced it for me, put PSI out of the wheels at 30 PSI on all 4 tires, and just did a factory-default balance on the wheel connectivity system (or whatever the right name is, forgot). anyhow, I guess if your car is slightly imbalanced, being stuck in the mud could possibly throw the balance of the rods, etc off balance a little more - I was unfortunate.

I'm not going to say anything more about the cops or that women since I probably won't have anything good to say about them, but I'll just say that car maintenace isn't cheap these days.
