topgear leans towards british

only leans? i would say 'is choking on jaguar's dick'

Just like how Americans patronize American cars.

yes because c&d loves american cars

Well you make it sound like its such a surprise that a british show will jack off to a so-called british car.

Well, regardless of what others think, C&D still does the best reviews in my opinion. Their tastes are the closest to my own in most respects, and so I give more weight to their comments than anyone else's.

while i really think that they butcher the american cars... but i think some of their points are right:

1) american interior are cheap plastics--- very true. it was disgusting when they can bend the new C6 vette's rear bumper with a gentle push... and the interiors are all hallow plastic.

2) american cars handle like boats--- this is true too... not surprising to me since the new cars just have some sort of truck engine and a total curb weight of 4000lbs or so. american cars are too large and heavy with a huge huge 4.8L engine that puts out 200 horses.

what's ironic is that i will probably get an american as my first car. oh well there also goes american's (dis)advantage of low resale value...

This is NOT a gay man's car 🙂

And yeah, nasioc.com seems to be down this AM.

Mirror please.
PS. not that I think subaru's are gay man's cars but I do find it funny that my friend, who is gay, just bought the legacy.

Well that show was never meant for an American audience in the first place. I'd imagine that their target audience actually approves of their favoritism since they probably share their view.

that doesn't make it right though. esp when they are less then honest. its the bbc after all.. publically funded correct?
