My jaw nearly dropped for this deal, but then I realized it wont work with some laptops.

Make sure your laptop doesn't use 15v connections. These will NOT work!

It says it supports 15-24V

Be careful! It wont support my Toshiba Satellite Laptop.

Input: DC 11-14 volts

You're not plugging your laptop directly into the DC socket. That's what the adapter is for, silly. :p

Yeah, I bit the dust and bought the $100 adapter from IBM for my T40. It has all kinds of protection in it (as I have made it go into protection from bad voltage) and is an AC/DC adapter in the same unit.

This sounds like a good deal, just don't expect the best of quality I assume.

Dell's use a proprietary input plug so I would say no, based on the pictures there.

try ebay for ac adapter pepole, i got my offbrand n37w3 (dell 5000) laptop, which was compatible with a compaq 1200 AC adapter, definately try cross-referencing AC adapters and do some research on it :)
