Car damage

So it seems some dumbass doesn't know how to park their car and has repeatedly bumped into my car from behind, leaving some oh so awesome damage. This has happened three times already.
I'm suspecting my neighbor, so I'm going to inspect his van once I have the chance. I live in an apartment complex and park outside my connected garage. He usually parks behind me but it's limited to space since he goes down the driveway and is the first unit.
What should I do about this? Confront him? or do I deal similar damage?

I would investigate first and if its true, you kick him in the nuts.

Part of car ownership is understanding that some dick is going to ding your doors and bumpers at some point and think nothing of it.

It'll be wasted breath if you ask him to fix it or something. If you're CERTAIN it's him and you absolutely must put an end to it, then just get a cone from somewhere and put it between you and where he parks.

If your car was important enough that you didn't want some scuffs on it, you'd be putting it in your garage.

Or maybe I just parked in a college parking garage for too long.
