Considering the cop came up pretty quick, im sure you can guess.

I dont understand why people just kept driving, I mean i would pull over and call it in or something.

Yeah, looks like the cop was chasing. I'm glad the loser didn't take someone else with him.

As for "calling it in", would you really call if the cop was already on the scene?

Did you see the SUV almost hitting the white car that slowed down. Everyone's such in a hurry!

What gave you that clue? The fact that the video is titled "Fatal Car Crash"?

Yeah it does look like he got ejected a ways. You gotta be a pretty bad driver to nail a toll booth like that. I could see maybe clipping it a little when driving that fast, but just driving straight into it? lol

Ok nevermind after reading that article it wasn't a chase. Thought it was.

Probably females driving by while on their cellphones. Didn't even notice the fire.

In that situation the people driving by are absolutely powerless to do anything. Why stop?

I would have kept on driving. There's nothing I could have done for him, and I would have just been in the way.

EDIT: Under different circumstances(i.e. a family in a van that crashed) I would help.

The driver was ejected out of the car. I would like to think I would have tried to stop and do SOMETHING.

I just wouldn't feel like a human to just drive by that like nothing ever happened.

Uh, this looks like a toll plaza. At 8:23 AM, can you imagine what the toll plaza at the Bay Bridge looks like? If this were me on my morning commute to The City, no, I would NOT call given that traffic is backed up miles and miles back. Why? I wouldn't pull over because I need to get to work.

Exactly, you would just be in the way. I would call it in, but given a cop is there, that's fine. What could I do if I pulled over anyways? The guy probably died and there's nothing we could be doing.

the article says the cops tried to rescue the driver INSIDE THE CAR but the flames hampered their attempts

he was NOT ejected.
