Car clock running slow. Sign of problems to come?

2005 Mazda3, 140k miles

last month i noticed that my clock was slow by a min so i added a min.

today i noticed it being slow by a min again!

this has never happened in the years i owned this car. in fact all the previous years it began to run fast around 6 months. i usually adjust it when daylight savings time starts/ends.

whats causing the clock to run slow?
and is that a sign of problems to come? if so, what?

doubt it. Probably just a defective clock.

A couple of months ago I noticed that time was relative. I fixed that. Your clock is just operating properly now.

I saw on the news that there is a time warp causing all clocks to run slow.

There is a TSB for a slow clock on some Mazda3's.

Just get a sticker to put underneath the clock that states "an approximation"
