Car buying question.

If I end up buying a car from someone that has the car paid off and has the title will I still have to pay for tax, title, and license?

Also, say the car is being sold for $22,000........about what would the total be?
 
In most states you will have to pay..

Title transfer fee
Registration
Sales tax on the purchase price.

If you know what the car costs, call your local DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) or check their web site. Most agencies will be able to tell you how to calculate the fees in your area.
