Hi,
So I have 55k I'd like to spend on two cars. My usage model is as such.
1) I have a family of 7, I need to bring all of them about 200 miles about once month.
2) I have a 20 min commute to work
3) The wife would like a car she can drive to the store, or use to bring the kids about, during the day when I'm at work.
Right now i'm thinking 26k for a ford flex, and 28k for a ford fusion.
This will be my first actual car buying experience; before this all of my cars have been purchased from friends or family. I have no preference for Ford, I just happened to have rented these cars and didn't dislike them.
I have a total lack of knowledge regarding cars, thus the post.
Any and all advice is appreciated,
