Car audio question. (UPDATED)

Oops, meant to say remote, just couldn't think of what is was called at the moment. The remote wire should run to the fuse box, not the ground, if hooked to the ground it should not even come on. The reason for hooking the remote wire up to either the remote/antennea wire out on the headunit is so the amp will come on when the car starts and shut off when the car shuts off. If you really wanted to, and didn't mind turning off/disconnecting the amp everytime you turn your car off, you could run the remote wire to the power wire, but the amp will always stay on.

Ya, thats how I got it hooked up. Always on. I'll try that and see how it goes! Thanks for the help TonyG!:)
