I'm looking for a new set of 3.5" dash speakers for my Mustang and came across these speakers. I can't find reviews or anything on them anywhere though! From what I've read about them, they seem decent - butyl surrounds (no foam), ND tweeters, nice power handling capabilities (60w in a 3.5" - 30 RMS?), and the price is right. One website I saw even put them on par with MB Quarts and the like (although I'm taking this with a grain of salt).

The ones I'm looking at are the Redline series - anybody know anything about these, or have experience with them?

Based solely off the price, I'm going to have to say they blow. $66 for a 200w 3 way 6x9? That's a pair. 6.5" component set for $90? Granted, my car audio knowledge is pretty shoddy at best, but you get what you pay for. On par with MB Quartz? *stifles laughter*

Heh, that's what I was kind of thinking. I know they're not going to be anything like MBs, but these speakers are for my beater - not something I want to put lots of money into. Not that I really have it to spend anyways. I may just get a pair and see what happens.

I gotta agree with raging in car audio, you definately get what you pay for.

BTW most sound quality competitors only use one set of components in the front, usually in kick panels. The music sounds better when it is all coming from one source point.

You can't find reviews on them because no one even remotely serious about car audio has purchased them and reviewed them
You get what you pay for.
