Hi, this is my first thread, i hope im posting it in correct area...
I have an old sony xplod sub and amp, its a 4 channel amp im running bridged on a 4 gauge wire on my 97 honda accord. Car is up in age and so is the stereo equiptment so not sure. I was blowing fuses more often than usual when i accidentally bought 40 amp inline fuse for the power wire and once again, i thought i blew an inline fuse but its fine AND i have headunit power but no amp light. It was cutting out on an off intermittently a day before but the volume was too low to have been overheating. The amp gets some power on the multimeter and when i jump the remote wire for the headunit, the amp comes on again but doesnt stay on, it starts cutting out. Idk if its the amp i have to replace or if its a problem in the wires or headunit...any advice would be greatly appreciated about this! 🙂
