Which amp would you choose? I need an amp to drive 1 Kappa Perfect 10". Getting it with enough power incase i wanan upgrade later too...

I would get the Kenwood. But that's just because I don't like Rockford Fosgate or Sony.

id say the RF... but i wouldnt get a perfect... not worth the money when u can get a 12" dayton dvc from partsexpress.com for less, and it will be more precise, louder, and go lower.
but they need at least 1cf, so they take a lil more room.

i got 250 W goin to 1 right now.. and its NICE... i mean HELLA nice...
ask Viperoni about em if u want, he got me hooked on em..

personally i wouldn't get the sony. just not as good as the other amps.

I would get the RF.

id go with the RF 500.2. ive got two RF amps in my Stealth now and I have never had a problem with them before

I just can't bring myself to buy dayton. This is going to be a very strange install.

I am going for SQ here, and I need small box. I am installing in a storage compartment in a 91' extended cab Toyota truck. It's going to be interesting to see how I will seal it. Gonna be fun though.

Besides, I'm gettin the perfect for around $150

I personally prefer JL Audio for subs since I've been usin em since 1992 and I would go with the RF amp.

i wouldn't get neither 3... but if i were to choose,

i'd go:

1. rf punch 500.2
2. kenwood excelon x401m
3. Sony es xm-6001 gxd.


I am sorta biased against sony's products because they are somewhat inferior to others, in my opinion of course.

Get the MTX 1000D Class-D amp...it's a bit pricey, but the wattage is clean....
