Milage drops are generally a slow process that you don't notice happening until it's really bad. For what they're worth for most cars, I still say change it every 10K or less.. or every 3 oil changes at least.. but hey, that's just me.Originally posted by: Eli

Changing your filter too often may not necessarily be a good thing, but shouldn't matter too much as long as your dilligent with your other maintenance.
