Does anyone know of a good program like the Win7 snipping tool that lets you select a section of your screen to copy and paste into another program such as outlook?

I would do this but i need it for someone who doesn't want to go through all those steps since they need to do this a lot.

print scr key, paste in paint, select area and cut, open new paint and paste.

Just a reminder that Ctrl+Print Screen = captures active window only.
I only say this because I know plenty of folks who have installed or sorts of crap just to take a screen shot of the active window.

Actually, <Alt><Prtscr> captures the active window. <CTRL><Prtscr> captures the entire desktop.

Actually, ' PrtScn ' captures the entire desktop ...

I'll be darned, it does. Didn't realize that. I guess from my DOS and older Windows days when PrtScr actually printed the screen to the printer, I didn't realize.

Get a Mac. The screen capture that comes with the OS X is amazingly good. It trumps the crap out of the snipping tool from Win7. No comparison.

Even if it is better, I wouldn't get a mac just for that.
