I want to capture fleeting facial expressions of a 6-month old baby. Is there a digital camera that records images instantly (or nearly instantly)? Thanks. Clete

I recall a program that worked with certain digital cameras a while back that could make it work like a webcam...

Why not just get a webcam? Or is the image quality too poor for what you are doing?

digital cameras tend to not be fast for "action" shooting!
