Heu, well I've never purshased that kind of thing but I find it really great to have TV on the computer but..
I don't even know the difference between a Capture card and a TV-Tuner.. :)

And btw, what would you guys recommend buying? Main use would be to watch TV. I don't think I'll need to plug in a VHS to record things up.. (well maybe sometimes..)

I'd reccomend the Leadtek Winfast TV 2000XP Deluxe from newegg. Of course if you do plan on capturing video you might want to consider the Asus TV Card because it has better quality images. I have the leadtek card and i'm very happy with it, I had an ATi TV Wonder Retail before and the image quality wasn't as good as this leadtek.

I love my Leadtek card although they just came out with a newer card, so naturally I wonder if its top notch.

I concur that the Leadtek is a great card I have one too, I am going to build a Shuttle multimedia box and will probably put an All-In-Wonder Radeon in it because I hear the new software is great.

I have a XP/2000, and will concur that its a very nice card. The factory software is average, but virtually foolproof for beginners.

Seriously consider the Asus TV880...very similar to Leadtek in features (no FM), but it uses the 10-bit connextant chip. Higher quality TV (and therefore capture). I believe the Leadtek uses 8-bit chip. I have the ASUS and it is crystal clear.

Where'd you get yours? Newegg doesn't have 'em anymore. Know someplace online that has them reasonably cheap?

Good luck with the Leadtek.

I've the new Asus TV Tuner and quality is NOT THAT GOOD.
So if everybody say Asus is better than Leadtek... well, once again, good luck.
