Capture streaming

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on the easiest way to capture streaming music to my hard drive.

IThis free video streaming capture app works really well: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/video_cache_view.html

When you "stream," the file really downloads to a temporary cache on your hard drive. Also, sometimes (rarely) that temp video file is locked in the cache.

You let the stream run to its completion and then before closing your browser run the free Nirsoft app. It pulls the file out of cache where it's temporarily saved, regardless whether the cache folder is locked. Important: remember to run the app BEFORE you close the browser you used to stream the video or audio. Once you close the browser the video file gets dumped.

edit: Oh yeah I forgot to say it works for audio too, like OP asked about.
