HI
My granddaughter showed me several videos she made in school. She asked if I could record those videos for her so she could have them.
Um,,, how do I do that??? I would assume there is software out there that would le me record streaming video. But,,, I don't know what to look for. Any and all suggestions and help in DESPERATELY NEEDED!!! LOLOL

Are we talking about youtube, or something else?
It all depends on where the videos are, and how they are stored.

You can just use a screen recorder like obs although downloading the actual video like elixer sugested will probably give you the best quality.

Since they made them at school, don't they allow them to take a copy home?

I use internet download manager. A quick bar pops up when there's a video on certain websites that make it easy to DL.

The video is stored on the school servers. It's called SpotEdMedia. And a window says, powered by Weebly. Just taking a guess it looks like something made in house at the elementary school in the district.

Camtasia Studio SCRN_REC Win7 [64] (Rev 1.0) Down Load the Trial and RIP Off the Screen Capture portion of the app. She will do 1080P at 30FPS providing you have the hardware power to do it and the know how to do a little hacking.

HINT: XVID unrestricted mPeg4/PCM.AVI has no volume restriction in a NTFS partition and then re-encode it to AVC-ACC H264.mp4 or mkv (TMGEncVM5 or a Developer MeGUI) Equivalent to Blue Ray Res with minor shuddering in full pan action scenes - Not perfect but definitely good enough ;

Camtasia SCRN Capture is my favorite to Screen capture any portion of my Korean QNIX 1440p IPS Display without having to extend AVI Files where most older SCRN Capture Utilities are limited to 2GB AVI Files with a the option to extend but then when it comes to the final encode extensions create all sorts of problems. Plus you gotta hack through all the Windows MS right protection crap just to Record and Capture what you see and hear on Screen. Browser Download Add On's and Independent Down loader's such as Download Helper for FF, CuteFTP or NetVampire may do it but not necessarily when you have to resort to a Screen Capture.

I suggest a 720p DVD quality Screen Capture at 30 FPS on a 60Hz Samsung IPS monitor which is very acceptable to view on a 4K Display - Doesn't mean you can't do 1080p ;o)

I believe the Original Author of this Screen Capture App for Camtasia Studio deserves CREDIT.

Amazing Screen Capture App in my opinion - Sadly the Author has been left behind.

PS: Extensions - Name it Spanning.
