I'm trying to find the best settings for my Leadtek TV2000XP Deluxe such that 2 hours of captured content can be burnt onto one 750MB CD as an SVCD. I'd like the highest quality video and audio that doesn't exceed 750MB. So far I've gotten close with MPEG-4 V2 and MP3 audio but I still exceed the 750MB limit.

Any tips? What are you using? Thanks for the help.

Hmmm, maybe I should have pretended that I was capturing with an ATI AIW card. I would've had a dozen replies by now.

I didn't try all the possibilities, but divx worked good for me. If you want stand-alone playback, DVD burners are nice and easy to use. The Hot Deals forum has a thread on this capture card that is really long and has a lot if good info.

I capture around 3000 per sec... This is high.. but you will want to use TMPEG to convert to SVCD anyway... I recommend using KVCD templates (www.kvcd.net). They do an unbelievable job in converting and shrinking the file. They claim to put 180 minutes on a CD... and it does actually work.

180 minutes??? Wow. Have you done this yourself? What was the quality like? Thanks for the reply, I'd about forgotten about this thread.
