When I was a student it took me forever to get my cards (MC $800 & Visa $500 student limits) bumped up. Last year when my cards where $6000 each I decided to make my MC $3000 & my Visa $1000 (for internet purchases). I figure that having such high limits are not really benefial to me besides I have an ING line of Credit for $10000 with a prime + 1 interest rate on that sucker just in case I ever need it

They'll offer something. If you don't care if you have it or not, then there is nothing to lose. If you want to keep it, I guess you can hang up on them if they wont offer you anything. I imagine any card they'd do this, just like sprintPCS.
