In May FloDesign won the MIT Clean Energy Entrepreneurship Prize for $200,000. link

Instead of a prop, they use a turbine housing to create electricity in numerous conditions. Neat stuff.

shame on anyone pushing for clean energy but will try to block it for such reasons.

as a progressive, i would have no issue with the wind turbines nearby. i actually think they are aesthetically pleasing in many ways.

That is what I keep trying to explain to people. Anything besides the american people going to candle light and horses is not good enough. Nuclear is out with the tree huggers. Wind is also out with the tree hugger since birds run in to them. Solar farms are out they take up to much land area ruining some animals habitat. There is no way to make these people happy and one of them is an inch from the whitehouse with complete control of congress.
