Hey guys, I'm new to this forum thing and computer stuff. My brother is the one who used to do all this stuff but he's gone now. But anywho, 4 out of 7 of the capacitors on my video card blew up, the tops are cracked and have this copper colored stuff poking out, no idea what it is. It's obvious that its a big problem and probably why many programs don't work on my computer. My main question is : Why am I still able to play Call of Duty 4 smoothly without the game freezing but when I try to play World of Warcraft, the game freezes up and can't play at all? I've tried several other games like Grand Chase and LaTale and both of those freeze up. Can anyone explain to me how this is possible if so please do and thank you very much. Sorry if I posted in the wrong area or what not. Thanks again.

Here are some pictures if you wish to look at the blown caps on the card.

Sorry man, we'd just be wasting time talking about why COD4 works but other games don't.

Your video card is shot....dead....kaput...

It's time to buy a new one, then your freezing will stop. :)

I see it's an EVGA board. If you were the original purchaser and registered it, it should have a lifetime warranty.
