I need to buy a capacitor for my TV..Radioshack has the type I need but in the axial version.. I need, or would rather have a radial( as thats what is in the TV). Could someone point me in the direction of a reputable online store from which I can purchase one please?

BTW.. the capacitor I need is 2200uf 35v (Radial only please.)

Second Mouser, no minimum order and they ship asap.
You can also call them and they will research parts you need that they do not keep in stock and they will tell you how to get it, even it means going to a competitor.

If you order from mouser be prepared for a very very large catalog to arrive in the mail. My last one was a good 4" thick over 1000 pages.

Finding the capacitor is the easy part. Soldering it in without getting a cold joint is the trick.
If this is your first shot at soldering on an IC board, you should buy a few extra caps, just in case...

Use as low a wattage iron as you can get by with, to keep the heat to the board minimal.

Same thing for DigiKey ... They sent a catalog that was about 6 inches thick (which I don't need) ... I know pretty much what they carry and the online catalog works fine, especially on a high speed connection. But Digikey's postage for small parts is a bit high (they do have top quality parts though)
