I plegde alligence to the flag,
of the United Corporations of America,
And to the replublic for which it stands
Indivisible with liberty and justice for the corporate oligarcy.

Hugs and songs only provide food for people in LaLa land. Don't blame us for you being to much of a dumbass to be able to hold a high-skill job (insert your comment about being ultra successful since it's the internet and no one can tell).

The problem with cap and trade is that it locks inequality in place. If you were already polluting a lot, you get to continue doing so. The irony is that most Americans don't realize just how biased in their favor such a system would be.

If this is true then those selling cap and trade did a piss poor job of explaining their side to the masses.

What, the threat of manbearpig ravishing this country wasn't motivation enough to let the government control and sell carbon emissions?

That's really funny. I probably know more about servicing high tech military gear than you ever dreamed of.

Thank god. Energy use per capita was lowest when we lived in caves/lean tos and shit in the same water supply that we drank out of. Definitely the good old days when people were in touch with nature. :D
