Not LED and 60Hz refresh rate. I wouldn't take it even for free. Did I say not 3D?

If you are not interested in the TV, move on. Thread crapping is not allowed.

Just in case nobody else realized this, but Future Shop is a Canadian store (in case the .ca wasn't enough). Plus, the OP is living in Canada.

Thus, the comparison to USD at Amazon/J&R doesn't help.

why would you be in a cheap tv thread if you were looking for an LED or even 3d tv?

Because even if there's a deal for a $100 laptop, someone will complain that it doesn't come with an i3 and a blu-ray drive.

Just to chime in, trumotion (what LG calls their 120/240hz) is extremely impressive on video games and dvd and blu ray movies. It appears to also work on some HD channels and netflix.

Could we get a better title? Canadians are likely to overlook this deal.

Just for giggles, you can put the model and price in the title too.

EDIT: job well done! :)

Yeah. You got to remember, you see deals like this for lower/older models cause they are trying to get rid of old inventory. I personally wouldn't want a 60hz HDTV these days, but that is still a decent price.

Is the 60hz really that bad for gaming??? I was thinking of picking one up for myself and playing Bad company 2 on it. But does it really hurt the Gaming experience?

most people don't understand that the 'hz' for a LCD is nothing like a CRT.

I game just fine on my 60Hz NEC LCD2490WUxi
