Mainly Cantonese and people from the South. Taiwan eats a few exotic things, but it's not as crazy.. Go north to Beijing, and exotic = Duck. That's it.

those aren't tails, they are snail guts and i woudln't eat that.

snails actually taste pretty good if cooked right, but i got no patience for that stuff

If you add enough sauce the snails basically become something to chew on. If you can get past the concept and the texture it's not a problem.

Liar, I eat out with my Korean friends all the time at traditional places in K-town. They don't have snails at all the restaurants, but I've seen it at a few and when I asked them about it they said it's not unusual for a traditional place to have snails.

Supposedly korean snails are bigger than cantonese style snails.

I'm pretty sure you eat the whole thing because you have to suck them out of the shell.

"les escargots" typical "strange" French food, also enjoy by many Asian Countries. There are many kind of snails. Some live on land, and some live in water, some big, some small. I had them before...and it was quite good.
