i think early reports/rumors have dom coming back, but he's terminally ill or something like that. i guess he's a changed man and we the viewers are supposed to be more sympathetic to him in this upcoming season. also is it confirmed that wahlberg isnt involved? in the previews for the upcoming season it shows him playing golf with drama so i would think he's still somewhat involved with the show. guess we'll soon find out in a few weeks.

The credits on the last 3 or 4 episodes from last season had his name removed as an executive producer. So it looks like he is no longer in the mix as a producer. Unless they signed him back up.
