can't view video

i have same problem, i have checked and the reason is because there was an error in the registry... i have not found a soloution yet

so u guys think it's missing a codec? I think i turned off all the pops up on IE and antivirus
This is on a laptop and it has McAfee installed. so it might be McAfee?

The problem i had is whenver i try to view a video from a website and once the video load up, ther'es a green screen blocking the video. I wonder if this problem is normal or anyone else experiencing this problem?

i think it came from my omega drivers, because when i got them the videos stoped working, however even ddeleting omega drivers doesent fix the problem......

I highly doubt that the Omega drivers caused this, it would have to break overlay and then you probably couldnt watch any videos on any media player. You can try disabling all popup blockers, antivirus software, antispyware, make sure it either a wmv file your trying to watch or make sure you have the appropriate codec for the video.

It is wma fiels that im trying to watch, and it's WMP 10 latest version so I think dont need to download the right codec.

Should be fine with codecs then, sounds like some kind of anti-virus, anti-spyware blocker, or firewall(could be blocking the incoming stream)
