Can't use latest Catalyst drivers if i'm using both onboard (radeon 3000) and a 6750?

I have 4 monitors.

2 of them are using onboard video (radeon 3000) from the cpu (amd phenom II X4 960T).
other 2 are on the 6750.

I am currently using catalyst 12.4.

I tried installing the latest catalyst drivers (14.9) but they don't work.
had to do a system restore.

No. You cannot. They overwrite each other. The 3000 is quite ancient and is not supported in any recent driver builds.

Windows' heterogenous display adapter support only applies to driver sets from different vendors (since they have different file, registry, and process names).
