Can't use alcohol 120% for F.E.A.R. or Quake?

I play Madden, BF2, Fear, soon to be Quake, and most likely COD2 and Civ4 in the very near future. I can't be switching all these CD's in and out everytime I want to play a different game.
Alcohol is a very legitimate program, and having these games block it's use is complete BS. Now I have to go find some sort of Emulator block fix crack. I have if for Fear and it actually works. I haven't loaded Quake yet, but was reading that it blocks emulator use also. :disgust:

Message me, I'll help you out with playing F.E.A.R without a DVD/CD. :) Quake 4 too.

I always go the no cd route anyways. Replaced .EXE vs having a huge image mounted on the hard drive taking up space...

We can suggest no-cd/dvd? isn't it against forum rules? or linking to it is against rules?

Anyways OP, if you want em for both games, PM me.

Linking to a CD crack is a definite no, discussing them is a grey area but not always locked if it's clear that you do own the game.

But keeping a CD wallet next to your PC is not an awful torment akin to the fires of hades. If you are strong enough, you can survive the agony of disc switching.

<-- not a mod, so not an "official" answer.

I use Daemon 3.47 and I rename the drivers during the install so that programs that object to my use of the utility are less apt to detect it. I also noticed that it does not give itself a name in the Add/Remove Programs area. So if you see a blank there, don't panic. It's likely Daemon.

That said, I never could get it to run San Andreas with the image file I downloaded and had to keep using my DVD. I don't like shuffling disks, personally.

Personally I see nothing wrong with discussing no-CD patches, but I know that others don't even seem to like them to be mentioned.

I've personally used no-CD patches for years, but with the new CD protections the newer game cracks are either slow to come out, or never do at all.

That's why I switched to Alcohol 120%. It's very easy to use and had worked without issue until today when I tried to play Fear.

I understand why the makers install the security, but if I own the damn game I should be able to play it without the CD......period!
