LINUX (CentOS):

I fell asleep at my desk and when I woke up I wasn't able to type on the keyboard. The only way keys are typed is if I hold down the key.

I'm not sure what combination of keys I accidentally press when I fell asleep. Any help?

Looks like you enabled "Slow keys". Assuming you're using Gnome, under "System > Preferences > Keyboard > Accessibility" you can turn it off.

For the record, Slow Keys can be enabled by holding down the Shift key for 8 seconds.

This happened to me and I went crazy. but is actually really simple once I found the solution.
For windows OS got to :
Control Panel :
then look for,
Ease of Access Center:
scroll down till you see,
Make the keyboard easy to use :
select,
Filter Keys:
and then select "OFF"
Slow Keys.
this is to protect you in case you're too drunk and fall asleep on top of your keyboard after watching porn.
hope this helps.

Thread locked as a mercy killing because you bumped a 6+ year old thread about a problem in Linux, and your post relates to Windows.
