cant they just get along, lite on 48x12x48 vs easy cd creator

hi i just got a lite on 48x12x48 burner and i started installing roxios easy cd creator 5 and it gave me an error saying "burner not compatible" or something like that and im like wtf is going on i paid fidy bucks for this pos software and it just up and decides to not work.
what the hell is going on here?

Roxio Easy Cd Creator a.k.a. Easy Blue Screen Creator is nothing more than a virus program with CD burning features. Stick with the Nero that came with your burner.

Yes, stick with Nero. Grab a shotgun, hand your ez cd creator CD to someone and yell "Pull!" 🙂

but my nero cd that came bundled with didnt have a serial number so i "aquired" one and now its saying to go to there website to verify that serial number and i dont no were to go on there site. so now it just runs in demo mode. o its the LTR-48125W.

IIRC I didn't even need a serial to use the version of Nero that came with my burner.

No serial # required for the version of Nero that came with the 40x12xWhatever Lite-On I installed for a client the other day.

installed many Lite-ons here and all Nero copies are proprietary to
Lite-on drives but never need a product key.

alright i figured it out if i reinstall and dont go to "ENTER SERIAL NUMBER" it wont give me the crap about being pirated and it will not run in demo mode. but i do like the way roxio looks better. nero is sorda ugly. is there any other burning software that looks as sexy as roxio?

Nero isn't meant to be sexy, girls are, Nero is meant to be a functional, something it succeeds in very well, use it for a while and you'll wonder why you ever looked at anything else.
