Move to Canada for awhile. Then you'll have no problem moving back to DC.

I would take 115 with no humidity any day over 80 with 100% humidity.

I wouldn't. I've spent plenty of time in Yuma, AZ where it is >110 degrees with 0% humidity.

I've also spent plenty of time down in Florida where it has been 80-90 degrees with 100% humidity.

I'd take the 80 degrees any day.

I have relatives in Las Vegas and Phoenix and I've lived in North Carolina for a few years now. So I've experienced the dry heat and the humid.

I understand your point, but I think you're exaggerating a bit. 80 degrees with high humidity isn't bad. It's once it gets closer to 90 and over that it starts to get really suffocating.

So,
I'd take 110 with no humidity any day over 90 with 100% humidity.

Portland, OR - Mild winters and nice weather in summer. Only a few really hot days.
No place I've ever been has nicer weather than the Pacific NW in the summer. But the almost constant cloud cover in the winter kills me. I really need to see the sun at least once a week.

I live in North Georgia and we just went over a week without breaking 32 degrees. I was ready to move further south myself. I freaking hate cold weather. The only thing snow is good for is skiing.
