Cant see my harddrive in vista

This is how my disk looks in computer management, but I cant do anything to it other than delete it, adn that is not going to happen.

I have alot of valueable stuff on it, and Ì just installed vista on another drive, and for some reason this drive aint shown other than here.

Assign it a drive letter.

Can't! If I right click it, the only thing that is clickable is "delete volume"

It has no label... Try giving it a label?

What does "backup drive" mean in this case? Does that mean it was previously used by Vista for Vista backups, or that it's a "normal" drive that was previously used to store data?

Its just a normal disk which I used to store data yes

I found out that it is apparently the Vlite Vista I am running, I just do not get how my other drives are functioning fine, but I gotta find out which component I should not remove for this to work as a vlited vista is so much better
