Not sure why it suddenly stopped working. Can't see any java apps in the web browser. I double checked the advanced tab but can't find anything that would stop me from viewing java apps. Anyone got an idea?

If you just installed Windows XP, then install Windows XP SP1, that'll fix your problems:

Microsoft Windows XP SP1

or, just head over to Sun's site, and download Java, that too will solve your problems.

Sun: Java VM

What browser? What version? Are you using the Sun plugin? Did your plugin come with the browser or did you install it from the Sun site?

That is incorrect. It only does not work with specific product keys. Even though I own XP Pro I still install with a corporate key and it installs SP1 just fine.
