hey,

i just borrowed my cousin's hard drive and i can't see it. i'm using win98se and he is using xp...when it's booting up its recognized but once it's in 98se i can't see his hard drive when i go to "my computer"...is this normal? is the xp file system different or something?

odds are his hard drive's file system is using NTFS, the default file system for Windows NT/2k/xp. Windows 98se uses FAT32, and does not have support to read ntfs.
