I just installed a new HIS HD3870, reformatted my hardrive, installed OS, update all Windowsa updates with all the net frameworks, updated DX9 to latest, then installed the latest 7.12 ATI drivers. Everything is running great. I first ran 3Dmark 01 and got great reults.

Then, I tried running 3DMark 05 and 06 and they wont run...it just sits there loading and gives me a "not responding error in the task manager.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail..

Any ideas?

I know with the 2900XT there was a file you had to rename to get it to work.. can't remember the name and my PC is in bits at the moment..

I seriously doubt the problem has anything to do with CrossFire or R6x0 stability in general.

3DMark 03, 05, and 06 have a bug in their clock rate detection library requiring a hotfix:
