Cant run 1 : 1 ...

I am supposed to have pc4000 memory but i cant even run 1 : 1 with an FSB of 220 without failing memtest/prime95...(multiplier down to 6, so just to check RAM)
Im not the only one with this problem so it seems, is it the Motherboard maybe?

I heard the Asus A8V deluxe has some undervolting issues, could that be one of the problems?

Also CPU-Z seems to think the memory is pc3700 (232mhz), dont like that as well, is CPU_Z always right?...

I would be real happy if i found a way to run 10 x 250 at 1 : 1 (2 : 1 on the asus mobo)...

Anyone else has this motherboard/problem?

Memory is Corsairs XMS pc4000 (500 mhz)...

voltage on memory is 2.8 volts, wich sadly enough is the limit of the board...

Timings are when running a divider 2.5-3-3-10 1T

But when raising the FSB i make them stock 3-4-4-8 ...still no luck, could it be the memory controller on the motherboard?

With an A64..there is no memory controler on the motherboard, the memory controller is in the CPU. Did you change your HTT multiplier to 4? If not thats probably your problem..the HTT needs to be at 1000Mhz or less to be stable.

hmm..offcourse...memory controller is on the chip itself, still my guess it is something with the mobo...ill try what u suggested
