Hey all, I just got XP on, and only have a problem:
I cannot press "restart" to restart the machine, it has to totally shut down to be restarted. What is the deal?

What are your system specs? If you have a Kryo II video card, you'll have to wait till XP is released. Give some hardware specs and we can help you out.

Sorry, I should have done that. Here is what I am running:
Windows XP OEM version
T-bird1.4 on an ECS k7s5a
Using onboard sound
512 mb of Crucial 2100 DDR
Maxtor 40gig 7200 ata 100
50x cd rom
8x8x32 cdrw drive
zip drive
ms wheelmouse optical
ms natual keyboard

That's all I have hooked up right now... Never had this problem before. I formatted my drive to ntsf before I installed XP. Any ideas???

Does ATI have drivers that are specifically for XP?? If not and you are using the 2k drivers, that might be why you arent about to do a restart. I had this problem with my Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 and then when I installed the XP drivers, the problem was fixed. I wished I could help you out more, but I am not sure how. The only thing is to be patient and to wait for XP to come out to the public. Good Luck.
