This is obviously a PEBKAC and I've poked around in the menus, but it still won't work.

I can use RD fine from inside, so it's got to be the settings on the Gateway AND Router.

I have an ActionTEC DSL modem. Yeah, I know...it was the only thing available.

The LAN-out of the DSL modem goes to a LAN port via XOver cable to my Netgear Router/4-port switch.

I have no data transfer issues. Smooth as buttah.

I have port 3389 forwarded to the IP of the PC I want to remote to in BOTH the DSL Gateway and the Router. But no dice.

Ideas, please?

Thanks, JackMDS. :) I used VNC awhile back before RD hit the scene. I'll give it a shot again. :)

We go one step further and actually publish the servers as on that port. No, it's not possible to do with that router, but it's what we do and it works.

There's probably simpler ways...
