Can't remember story about police chasing a tank

I remember there being a story about that guy that hijacked a tank and took if for a joyride before the cops shot him. I can't remember where it happened or when. Can someone give me a link or give just a few names to use to look for info on this?

i remember when that occurred, it was nuts. my mom went to high school with that guy. and as far as that pic goes, damn the 163. i take that freeway every morning on the way to work, people are the worst exiting off genesee and friars. not that you probably care, just thought id get a mini-vent session off. thanks! 😀

no, just shot him. he refused to surrender, the police had to open up the door with a bolt cutter, and when he still refused to surrender, they fired at him.

He got the tank high centerd on a highway barrier. The cops climbed on top opened the hatch and shot him in the head.

The tank was not armed - it's only danger was its mobility and mass. Considering it was high centered and had thrown a tread, this was no longer an issue. CS or taser would have sufficed if the officer was too chickenshit to try to physically restrain a scrawny naked guy.
