i've got an IPsec VPN setup between two sites each using a ClarkConnect router
one network is 192.168.2.x and the other network is 172.19.1.x
i can ping everything with no problem between both networks and my pings are all under 100ms
i have a brother hl-5370dw in each office set to static ip, and i can ping both from either office, but when i add the remote printer using that IP address, Windows Vista detects nothing on the TCP/IP port, and when i add it manually or using the CD install, nothing prints... the local printer works fine using its ip
printing a test page just puts one print job in the queue which eventually dies with an error
can the IPsec VPN somehow be blocking or losing the printer traffic? i need ideas here :-(
i also have noticed that i can't access the remote printer's webconfig page via its ip address, but i can access the local webconfig... so maybe its some kind of routing issue?
