:disgust:
I have a Shuttle MS21 motherboard and recently flashed the BIOS (Award). It said to had been done successful and then told me to reboot. After rebooting I got a series of 1 long beep. Thinking something wrong had happened to the BIOS chip (corrupted?) I called Shuttle and and sent them them chip to be replaced. They sent me back the same chip (I think they just flashed it for me). I just put my system back together and the same thing still happens---one long beep. There is no list of BIOS beep codes in my manual but according to serveral websites one long beep means there is a memory problem. I've tried RAM I know is fine and I still get the same problem. I've also checked all of my jumpers, drives, CPU, and everything to make sure all connections were done correctly. Do I still have a problem with the BIOS chip? Do I need a new chip? Any help will greatly be apprectiated.
Thanks:
Brad
