Cant play the games I want

I have just bought a m2n-esli green motherboard with a AMD64 Athlon times 2 4200+with one stiick of kingstin RAM !gb pc2-5300 cl5 240-pin dimm and a MSI256mb ddr2 nx7300letd256eh graphics card. I Dont not very much about computers but last week had this built for me and I told the gentelman I wanted a gaming system. Today I bought ghost recon advanced fighter 2 bran new from EB and when I load the game it is really laggy.Can anyone give me some advice of what I should do or change to be able to play my favourite games. Any help would be much appreciated.

This configuration is anything BUT a gaming system...

Unless someone's definition of gaming is different...

570 witha liscensed copy of windows xp how bad is the damge and where can I start upgrading while still using the computer day to day and hopefully play a game that doesnt lag

Go to your "profile" at the top of the page, and change the profile picture/avatar.

For the Ghost Recon 2 you will need at least another 1 GB of RAM and 8800GT or better Video Card, assuming the resolution about 1280x1024 and higher.

But you didn't really overpay for the configuration.

You'd want this processor, plus this video card. Of course, I'm sure you'd also have to replace the power supply. Also, you'll definitely need another 1GB stick of RAM.

he wouldn't really need to go that expensive on the video card for an adequete gaming system.

what order should I upgrade and can you recommend something more cosr efficent im willing to do what it takes but working on some what of a budget im 22 and dont make much coin but I like to buy things I want

do I need a new power supply if not on what upgrade do I need the powersupply with the new chip and is they motherboard exceptable

Also the ram that I bought was only 29.99 should I buy better ram when I buy the second stickk if so can you reccomend a stick that I can pick up at a local Candian shop for under 75 a piece and can I upgrade One at a time keeping the Ram I have now and Adding better ram

My local store has that card for 125 I was told that I could put dual video cards on this board will that make the graphics better or is this for multiple monitores

If you can afford it, go for the 8800GT - the 256MB version should not be much more expensive than 8600GT, and the difference will be enormous.
