Can't play Rogue Spear w/ GeF GTS2.......

Driving me crazy...Locks up at Menu screen
Specs:
Pent 3 667 Coppermine
Via chipset (latest 4 -1 ) and latest BIOS (Micron system- I know...but my wife bought it for me)
New GTS2 with all different drivers tried, from Mr.F's to Det 12.0 (everything in between, using NVclean between drivers)
DirectX 8.0 (and tried 7.0)
256 Ram
21 inch ViewSonic
SB Live value
And latest Game patch (won't work either way)
Thing is , worked fine with old GeForce 256...

I love this game, and I don't think GeForce is officially supported, but most everyone I know can run it. Someone know of a fix, I'm sure I'm missing something?

When you reinstalled the drivers for GTS2, did you completly remove the old drivers from the system? Sometimes your system will reinstall components from old drivers even when you try to install new. Also I can only assume you got the most recent drivers from the website.

Used "NVclean" with each driver, removes all old driver files. I have used the official NVidia drivers from their site also, along with all the others. I'm getting ready to swap this for a lesser card just to play the game (in b/s/t forum). Half-Life and UT work fine!. Anyone else have Rogue Spear problem with this card? I'm up for any other suggestions. Thanks in advance.
