Cant play certain avi files

I cant play webcam related avi files. I have realplayer,divx,wmp. I have webcam videos saved from my old intel comp and now my new amd comp says it cant play them.

And what do your playes say?
Maybe the problem is in codecs?
Download and install the latest K-Light Mega Codec Pack from free-codecs.com.
 
For a player which supports a very wide array of formats without a hitch (and is also very small and a nice replacement / substitute for WMP) - check out VLC Media Player.
 
my favourite is BS player.

If codecs are missing
install AVI CODEC ANALYSER, then right-click on your movie in Windows Explorer and choose "AVI-CODEC : detailed Information" Then you'll know which codecs you are missing.
